Voice of the Void is a contemplative anthology of free verse that explores existential dualities — love and loss, pleasure and pain, identity and conformity, silence and expression—within the backdrop of modern urban life.
At its core, the book is an inward journey. The “void” represents the poet’s deepest, most primal consciousness—a silent space from which questions about selfhood, belonging, and meaning arise. Through intimate, often vulnerable reflections, the poems dissect:
1. Identity and Gender
2. Motherhood and Sacrifice
3. Desire and Union
4. Pain as Human Currency
5. Modern Alienation
6. Silence and Inner Awakening
Voice of the Void is a philosophical-poetic meditation on identity, desire, suffering, and transcendence—charting the journey from fragmentation to wholeness in a noisy, modern world.

Arin Rei is the preferred nom de plume of the author. Born and raised in a remote village of Odisha, India, she eventually navigated to Newcastle University in the UK where she pursued a master’s degree in biomedical science and began working in civil construction. She is currently pursuing an executive MBA from the Indian School of Business.

In a world obsessed with busyness, Voice of the Void invites you inward—exploring loneliness, strength and self-discovery through authentic, feminine free verse.
